Information collected

The inquiry form collects the contact details, project information, timing, location, and message you choose to provide. Advertising landing-page inquiries may also include campaign parameters, such as UTM values or a Google click identifier, so Red Jay Video can understand which advertisement led to an inquiry. The private review form collects your name, email address, approved public attribution, wedding date when supplied, review text, and your permission choices.

Cloudflare may also process technical information needed to deliver and protect the website, including IP address, browser details, security signals, and form-verification data.

How it is used

Inquiry information is used to answer your message, assess availability, prepare a project scope, and maintain ordinary business records. Review information is used to verify a genuine experience, follow up when needed, and evaluate text for possible publication only when explicit website permission has been granted.

Red Jay Video does not sell submitted information or add form submitters to an unrelated marketing list.

Email delivery and spam protection

Form submissions are delivered to Red Jay Video through Google Apps Script and Google Workspace. Cloudflare Turnstile is used to distinguish legitimate submissions from automated abuse. Google and Cloudflare process the information required to provide email delivery, security, and fraud prevention under their own privacy and data-processing terms.

Website and advertising measurement

When analytics is allowed, Red Jay Video uses Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement to understand page visits, advertising source, button clicks, scroll depth, engaged time, form starts, and successfully delivered inquiries. Names, email addresses, wedding dates, locations, and message text are not sent to analytics.

The Google tag begins in restricted consent mode with analytics and advertising storage denied. If analytics permission is granted, the consent setting is updated so the selected measurement features can operate. Your preference is saved in local browser storage and can be changed through an Analytics preferences link in the website footer. Google Analytics event-level data may be retained for up to 14 months, subject to the account’s current settings.

Cloudflare Web Analytics may collect aggregate traffic and performance information without using it to record form contents. Access to the Red Jay Video analytics dashboards is limited to authorized accounts; Google and Cloudflare still process measurement data under their respective terms.

Reviews and permission

Website reviews are never published automatically. Evan reviews each submission before use. Only the approved review text and public name may be displayed; the private email address is not published. A Google review is a separate choice made directly through Google and is governed by Google’s policies.

Retention and deletion

Information is retained only as long as it is reasonably needed to respond, provide requested services, document permissions, meet business or legal obligations, and protect the forms from abuse. Approved review permissions may be retained while the review remains published.

To request access, correction, removal of a website review, or deletion of submitted information, use the Contact form and identify the request as a privacy matter. Red Jay Video will respond within 24 hours and may need to verify the request before acting.

Policy changes

This policy may be updated as the website, service providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are published.
